It's not a vacation, it's bringing life into the world. It may be more "work" to not have drugs during labor/birth, but it's worth it -- those medications affect the mom's body and the baby and can cause many complications and problems in the short AND long-term. Pitocin is commonly used to start or "speed up" labor and is now being linked to autism. Babies born under the influence of pain medication have much more trouble with breastfeeding. And surgical birth can save lives when needed, but it comes with many, many serious risks for mom and baby. Birth interventions should only be used when absolutely necessary, not as a matter of course. And your thinly-veiled insult about her being naked was really unnecessary. Until you've gone through labor and birthed a baby, keep your mouth shut. For the record, you were probably mostly naked when your babies were being cut out of you, you just couldn't see or feel what was going on.

Re: Grain-Free Granola Bars

These looks great! Absolute comfort food and lucky for me, my mother brought me a can of those crunchies when she visited from the states over Christmas. I make it all the time just as written. I'm wondering if
maybe you're using a coarser or finer coconut flour, or if you live in an
area with more humidity (humidity is almost 0 here in California's central
valley)... and if those things might affect how your batter turns out. Sorry
it's not working out for you!

Re: Happy Birthday to my Sweetie

I just asked my husband and he said he could taste peanut butter - you could
tell there was peanut butter in it, but that it didn't taste like a peanut
butter cake. It's hard to describe... it clearly doesn’t taste like a
flour-based cake - but peanut butter isn't the overwhelming flavor. Hope
